'Not Afraid' was born from a collaboration between Jewish communities in Israel and Mexico, without a Hollywood budget and without profit motives. Produced by Rami Ricardo Cielak, a Jewish-Mexican entrepreneur who decided that someone needed to say what needs to be said. He was joined by director Yossef Brauman and leading voices from across the Jewish world — because they had been waiting to say the same thing.
The film answers one question: How does a Jew stop being afraid of being Jewish?
I don't want Jews to feel that they are alone, or that no one cares about them. I want them to know that there are people standing with them — not behind them, but beside them.
